The new year has begun, and travel is back for its first full (and hopefully uninterrupted) year since 2019, with people eager to experience everything the world has to offer once again.
With tens of thousands of Aussies eager to book their next holiday and business trip, travel agents are again proving indispensable to the process, but only if your potential clients can find you.
Free search tool, Travel Agent Finder, has its sights set on a big year of growth and is enticing front line advisors to make sure their name is out there to help new and existing clients get in touch for their next booking.
In its first full year of operations in 2022, the website facilitated 15,000 views of special offers, nearly 25,000 views of travel photo albums submitted by agents and a massive 37,000 reads of agent blogs detailing their own adventures around the world.
Travel Agent Finder works by allowing agents to create their own profile, set their areas of expertise and detail their experience with their own travel photos. Travellers can search for their nearest advisor by their geographic area or by identifying those who specialise in their desired form of travel, such as cruising for example.
“With the platform growing and online exposure more important than ever, it is crucial for travel professionals to have an updated Agent Profile to showcase their expertise,” said Travel Agent Finder Owner and Operator, Anna Shannon.
Just by ensuring your contact details are up to date, Travel Agent Finder is giving advisors the chance to win a spot on a ‘3 Continents’ Celestyal Cruises group famil beginning on 17 March 2023.
The seven-night round-trip sailing departs from Athens, visiting Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, the Greek Island of Rhodes and Kusadasi in Turkey before returning to the Greek capital. The itinerary is so-named as it will see you set foot in parts of Europe, Africa and Asia all in a single week.
“The more places their business can be listed online, the better their digital presence, and in an ever-growing digital world where everyone Googles what they need, they are missing potential business if their online presence is lacking,” Shannon said.
“An agent can spend tens of thousands on a fancy website and search engine marketing, or they can join Travel Agent Finder, for free, and let me spend that for them!”
To be in the running, agents must LOG IN to Travel Agent Finder by COB on Sunday 15 January and either create a listing, update their details and complete the entry form.
Included in the prize is one night pre-cruise accommodation in Athens and a seat at a group dinner.
Airfares are not included, however Celestyal Cruises will pay a post-trip allowance of $1,500 on completion of a report about the trip. Optional additional pre- and post-cruise travel arrangements are also at the winner’s expense.
