Drawing inspiration from Vivid Sydney, the Southern Hemisphere’s brightest light show, Illuminate Sydney is an interactive space where celebrity magic meets urban illumination.

Australian social media stars, Luke and Sassy Scott, ceremoniously snipped the silver ribbon to unveil Illuminate Sydney, Luke exclaiming, “It is truly inspired by Vivid, you get to walk around the interactive areas and you’re able to control the lights – it’s like you’re in charge of Sydney.”  Scott added “I have never seen a wax figure before in my life. I’ve met Chris Hemsworth in person and that is identical to him.”

Once inside, guests are treated to a feast for the senses. From an illuminated Sydney sign to the glowing walkway, every nook is a spectacle waiting to be discovered.  Cate Blanchett, sporting a whole new vibe, awaits in the VIP lounge, the perfect spot to chill out, before striking a pose with Ryan Gosling and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Chris Harvey, Head of Operations at Madame Tussauds Sydney, said, “It’s not just the walls that are lit up; our A-list celebs have had their own glow-ups too! Decked out in fresh threads, they’re red carpet-ready and set to steal the spotlight.”

The real magic happens at the curved LED wall and the Sydney Opera House model, where guests take control of the lights and projections. With every flicker, the entire space transforms before their eyes.

“If you’ve ever dreamt of lighting up the city, now’s your moment! At Madame Tussauds Sydney, guests get the chance to control the lights and transform the iconic Sydney skyline even projecting artwork onto the sails of a model Sydney Opera House,” said Harvey.

Illuminate is now open, lighting the way for guests to step into a realm where celebrities align, and city lights dazzle. For more information head to www.madametussauds.com/sydney/illuminate
