Viking is thrilled to announce the launch of ten new pre- and post-hotel extensions across select European and Egyptian river itineraries. This exciting expansion introduces new destinations to Viking’s portfolio while also incorporating familiar cities into previously unavailable itineraries.
For the first time, Viking guests can explore Toulouse in France, St. Moritz in Switzerland, and Tokaj in Hungary—cities rich in history and cultural intrigue. Additionally, popular destinations such as Amsterdam, Budapest, and Cairo will now be available as pre- and post-cruise options for select itineraries.
Pre- and post-cruise extensions provide an excellent opportunity for travellers to make the most of their time abroad, allowing for deeper exploration of embarkation and disembarkation cities or even entirely new destinations. These extensions offer seamless travel experiences, eliminating the complexities of planning separate hotel stays, transfers, and guided tours.
For travel agents, these new offerings present both an enhanced experience for clients and a valuable financial incentive. Viking’s extensions can be booked via the Travel Advisor Portal or the Contact Centre, with commissions available on all bookings made prior to departure.
