The dog’s out of the bag! Bluey and Bingo made a splash today as two of Brisbane’s iconic CityCats transformed into CityDogs.
Celebrating the much-loved Bluey and her little sister Bingo, and honouring Bluey’s deep connection to Brisbane, the CityDogs offer families and fans a unique and entertaining way to travel and explore the river city.
The playful makeover arrives just in time for the highly anticipated opening of Bluey’s World Brisbane this month. Visitors to Bluey’s World will be able to arrive in true Bluey style, travelling on the CityDogs to and from the Northshore Hamilton ferry terminal.
Kate O’Connor, Director Brands and Licensing, BBC Studios ANZ said “As Bluey’s hometown, Brisbane has always been an important part of the show’s identity. Reimagining two of Brisbane’s CityCats as CityDogs is a fun and fitting tribute to the show that has become a global phenomenon, while still proudly calling Brisbane home. We’re excited for fans to enjoy this new way of connecting with Bluey, and just in time for the opening of Bluey’s World.”
Meet the CityDogs
