Three Aussie travel professionals have just returned from a famil offering a firsthand experience of Japan’s diverse travel offerings.
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) hosted the famil, spotlighting Kyushu and regional Japan. The four-night, five-day tour showcased Kyushu’s coastal and scenic cruise opportunities for travel itineraries.
The famil was structured to align with specific travel themes and regions, ensuring the group experienced Japan’s distinct attractions and local experiences tailored to their market.
The product managers joined a JNTO host and English-speaking guide for the cruise-focused tour on Kyushu, exploring destinations like Fukuoka, Beppu, Takachiho Gorge and Kumamoto.
“We showcased the beauty, easy accessibility and uniqueness of areas in Kyushu still relatively unknown by the Australian market,” said Harriett Bougher, Business Development and Senior Assistant Marketing Manager for JNTO.
“Our goal of this famil is that, with firsthand insight and experience, our carefully selected participants will be able to craft tour products that will encourage more Australians to travel to Kyushu pre and post cruise travel.”
Those travelling were Alison Finch, My Cruises, Adam Burke, Scenic Tours and John Braid, ECruising.
