Las Vegas is constantly evolving, and its latest developments are set to redefine the city’s iconic skyline and visitor experience. At an exclusive event hosted at Cinq in Sydney, Las Vegas Tourism gave a select group of wholesalers, agents, and media an update on what’s new in the entertainment capital of the world.

One of the most ambitious projects underway is the Las Vegas Loop, an underground transportation system designed by Elon Musk’s Boring Company. Currently serving the Las Vegas Convention Center since 2021, the Loop uses Tesla Model 3 cars to shuttle passengers between five stations. But it’s set to expand dramatically, with plans to include 65 stops throughout Las Vegas, connecting downtown, the strip, stadiums, and even the airport. This futuristic transit network is set to revolutionise how visitors navigate the bustling city.

Meanwhile, the iconic Mirage volcano is making way for the Hard Rock Hotel’s Guitar-Shaped Tower, a bold architectural statement that is already taking shape. Slated to open in 2027, the 170-metre-tall tower will feature 600 luxurious rooms and redefine the Las Vegas skyline with its striking design.

Adding to the city’s allure is The Sphere, a jaw-dropping entertainment venue that has quickly become a must-see attraction. Standing at 112 metres high and 157 metres wide, it is the largest spherical structure in the world. With its LED-covered exterior displaying dazzling light shows and a 16K LED screen inside offering an immersive viewing experience, The Sphere hosts spectacular live performances and concerts like never before.
