Commencing 30 March 2025, Singapore Airlines will be adjusting flight timings for Darwin (DRW) to Singapore (SIN), introducing a split schedule with a late night departure on 3 days of the week, opening up more connections via Changi to Asia, Europe and the US.

In essence, for the upcoming Northern Summer (NS) this sees departures from DRW at 0155, arriving into Singapore at 0510, introduced on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays.

This new morning arrival into Singapore will increase connection options and reduce transit times for key destinations from DRW including Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City and Kathmandu.

For key destinations in Asia in particular, this means faster connection times for customers departing DRW, and in some cases reducing the need for an overnight stay at all, including:

  • DRW-SIN-CGK (Jakarta): 1h45min shorter, and a morning arrival rather than late night
  • DRW-SIN-BKK (Bangkok): 10h10min shorter, and pax don’t have to overnight in Changi
  • DRW-SIN-HKG (Hong Kong): 10h10min shorter, and pax don’t have to overnight in Changi
  • DRW-SIN-MNL (Manila): 2h50min shorter
  • DRW-SIN-SGN (Ho Chi Minh City): 10h10min shorter, and pax don’t have to overnight in Changi
  • DRW-SIN-KTM(Kathmandu): 10h10min shorter, and pax don’t have to overnight in Changi
  • DRW-SIN-MAA (Chennai): 2hr30min connection, with a morning arrival rather than late night

Additionally, this will allow connectivity to a greater number of European flight routes, including London Heathrow (SQ308/ SINLHR), Paris (SQ332/ SINCDG) and Frankfurt (SQ326/ SINFRA). With two departure options for these destinations across the week, customers can enjoy their choice of flight, with efficient connections for their onward journeys to Europe.
