One man has died after falling from a hot air balloon basket in Melbourne.
The incident happened at approximately 7.30am on Monday.
Paramedics were called to Albert Street in the suburb of Preston where a man’s body was located on the pavement.
A local resident told Nine’s Today show they heard a noise, followed by lots of sirens.
“My brother heard like a loud bang, almost like something like a large item falling in your house. And it wasn’t until we heard all the sirens that we came out.”
“I actually only heard the sirens,a lot of them,” he told Today.
