Travel Without Limits is looking for the Best Accessible Bathroom in Australia, with nominations for the inaugural award opening on 1 November.
“Toilets aren’t the sexiest subject, but everyone needs access to one,” says Julie Jones (Executive Editor, Travel Without Limits).
“1 in 5 Australians live with a disability, and millions of them have specific access needs when it comes to bathrooms. It’s often a deciding factor in whether they can go shopping, go to the beach, or go on a holiday. When businesses and councils invest in making their bathrooms accessible for people with disabilities, they should be recognised.”
Nominations for the Best Accessible Bathroom can be submitted via the Travel Without Limits website throughout the month of November, with the winner to be announced on International Day of People with Disabilities (3 December).
The winner will be judged by an expert panel, and will receive a prize pack including one years’ worth of free advertising in Travel Without Limits.
