Journey Beyond has launched its 2026 season of overnight and all-inclusive experiences.

Travellers can now book multi-day experiential rail journeys on The Ghan, Indian Pacific and Great Southern, Vintage Rail Journeys, flagship small-group adventures from Outback Spirit and the luxury lodge Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef.

“We’ve seen a growing demand to experience the most unique and remote parts of Australia and are excited to open the 2026 season of our iconic rail journeys: The Ghan, Indian Pacific and Great Southern,” said Alicia Triggs Executive General Manager – Sales and Partnerships at Journey Beyond.

“In addition to our famed train journeys, you can also secure an adventure on Outback Spirit’s all-inclusive small-group tours or immerse yourself in the wonders of the world’s largest fringing coral reef at the eco-luxury lodge Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef.”

The Ghan Expedition season has been extended with travel now open from March – November and the Great Southern ‘Brisbane to Melbourne’ three-day summer by train adventure is back for departures during December and January.

Journey Beyond has also revamped its offering of pre and post rail City Stay packages, streamlining the program.

“In 2026 Journey Beyond has upped the ante and your clients can now choose a traditional Classic City Stay or opt to go treat themselves indulging in a Luxury City Stay, partnering with 5-star boutique accommodation across the country, whether it’s Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Darwin,” added Ms Triggs.

Outback Spirit’s hero adventures now also on sale, with Arnhem Land, the Kimberley and Cape York tours, departures are now guaranteed exclusively for trade partners. Pre-release savings of up to $3,100 per person can be made on Outback Spirit’s all-inclusive small group tours (conditions apply).
