Nikki Glading, General Manager of Luxury Travel Collective, told Traveltalk, “This event is designed to bring the luxury traveller together with the luxury supplier and a luxury advisor and make the magic happen. We’ve got 30 advisors here today, which is the perfect number. 80% of the guests that we’re expecting today, don’t currently have a Travel Advisor, so they’ve come here for expertise, and our luxury advisors are here to offer them that expertise.”

Jenny Thomas, Senior Travel Consultant at Travel Associates Penrith, shared her perspective on the event: “This event is great. From the consumers perspective, it doesn’t cost you much to get in. You can meet all the suppliers, the wholesalers, cruise operators. The knowledge that you can get from these events is amazing. You get a bag of goodies, and there’s master classes that you can attend. You can have a chat and get inside information about unique destinations. And from the travel agent perspective, yes, we can actually get bookings from the day or leads that will turn into bookings for people who want need a travel agent, because being a bit more luxury event, people are spending a lot of money, and we want to make sure that they get the best service possible, and you can only get that from a travel agent.”
