Karl Marshall brings over 20 years of experience in leading luxury five-star hotels across the globe, primarily in the Africa and Middle East regions. His illustrious career began with Hyatt, taking him from Australia to Tanzania, South Africa, UAE, and Oman. A New Zealand native, Marshall has developed unique expertise in strategic and operational hotel leadership, working with diverse and multicultural teams worldwide. Before joining InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto, he served as General Manager at The Langham, Melbourne.
A passionate and results-driven hospitality professional, Karl Marshall is dedicated to enhancing the InterContinental brand and honouring the iconic history the hotel represents.
