Re-opening for the 2024 season on Monday 13 May 2024, Home Valley Station is again welcoming visitors to experience what is commonly referred to as Australia’s last frontier.
Home to the Balangarra people for many thousands of years, the Traditional Owners and managers of Home Valley Station, are looking to share their stories and culture with you.
Being the largest Indigenous managed tourism resort in Western Australia, with 65% local Indigenous staff and growing, you can expect a truly unique, immersive Indigenous tourism experience.
For those who enjoy exploration at their own pace, Home Valley Station offers seven distinct self-guided walking trails, that will give you a glimpse into the rare beauty only found in the Kimberley wilderness.
One of these – the Balanggarra Home Valley Tour – turns back time to walk you through the history of Home Valley Station, taking you to key locations around the station, such as the Cockburn lookout, and venturing across Pentecost River for a breathtaking view over the Balanggarra landscape.
