Emirates has unveiled its latest innovation for cabin crew, officially opening the Emirates Crew Zone at its Group Headquarters in Dubai. Designed to enhance crew engagement, support, and well-being, the Crew Zone is a 24/7 dedicated space that offers a range of services tailored to the airline’s world-class crew.

The modern and open-plan Crew Zone has been in development for nine months, with an investment of AED 3 million. It is a dynamic space where crew members can access educational workshops, tech support, a beauty and wellbeing hub, interactive lounge areas, and various other services designed to support their professional and personal growth.

The spacious facility can accommodate up to 200 crew members at any given time and features seven distinct zones, fostering a strong sense of community among cabin crew and other departments. Emirates remains committed to employee well-being and professional development, and the Crew Zone is a testament to that dedication.

A Look Inside the Emirates Crew Zone

The new Crew Zone comprises several key areas:

  • Emirates Crew Engagement Zone – A multifunctional space for in-person training, product launches, and workshops. Interactive screens display real-time calendars, allowing crew to book sessions directly from their phones. Topics range from new menu launches and service standards to health, fitness, and safety training.
  • Emirates One Device Hub – Staffed 24/7, this hub offers tech support for the Emirates One Device programme. Cabin crew receive an iPhone or iPad Air configured with Emirates’ custom apps to streamline passenger service. The hub assists crew with setup and troubleshooting.
  • Emirates Crew Lounge – A comfortable retreat where crew can unwind, enjoy a coffee, finish reports, or socialise with colleagues after flights.
  • Emirates Facilities Distribution Service – A one-stop centre for dropping off and collecting essential documents such as visas and regulatory paperwork, as well as picking up new devices.
  • Emirates Crew Computer Zone – Equipped with high-speed internet and individual workstations, this space enables crew to complete tasks, book personal flights, and print documents with ease.
  • Emirates Crew Connect Services – Available 24/7, this area provides operational support and assistance for crew, whether in person, by phone, or via email.
  • Emirates Beauty Hub – Originally launched in 2023, the Beauty Hub now sits within the Crew Zone. Open five days a week, it offers expert consultations, skincare and haircare tips, and masterclasses covering makeup application, fitness, and nutrition.
