Globus family of brands (GFOB) has appointed two key hires and made internal transitions across the sales team.
These expansions and movements will contribute to driving sales growth to meet the demand of Aussie travellers in 2024 and beyond.
With more than a decade of experience in the tourism and travel industry, Kate Jury has been appointed Business Development Manager Victoria North/West and TAS.
Previously holding the title of Business Development Manager for Global Touring representing both Back-Roads Touring and Topdeck Travel, Kate’s skills lie in sales, marketing, account management, customer service and event management.
This expertise paired with her passion for travel, determination, strong communication and interpersonal skills has enabled her to create and maintain long-term partnerships with key trade partners.
For the past five years Melinda Wouda has been instrumental in her role as Business Development Manager at GFOB, building, maintaining and strengthening key relationships throughout her territory in western and northern Victoria and Tasmania.
As a testament to her hard work, passion and commitment, Melinda has been promoted to the role National Account Manager where she will continue to be an excellent ambassador for GFOB on a national scale.
Ahead of an upcoming move to Victoria, Josh Galea will be transitioning into the Business Development Manager – South & East Victoria position.
Josh returned to GFOB nine months ago and since then, his territory has shown strong growth and excellent sales.
Josh will now bring his experience, knowledge and passion for GFOB to south and east Victoria where it is expected that fantastic results will be achieved.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time at GFOB and we are delighted to be expanding and facilitating internal team growth to set ourselves up for 2025,” said Gai Tyrrell, managing director Asia Pacific of Globus family of brands.
