Cathay Pacific has unveiled its new business class, premium economy and economy cabins onboard its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The updated 777-300ER debuted on the airline’s Hong Kong-Beijing route on October 18 before progressively being deployed on other regional and long-haul routes.
It is configured in a three-class layout with a total of 361 seats, comprising 45 flat-bed business, 48 premium economy, and 268 economy seats.
The customer experience is at the heart of the design and conception of the all-new Aria Suite for business class passengers.
The addition of a suite door creates a space designed for the customer and adapted to enhance the immersive suite experience, giving passengers the ability to work, rest and relax in comfort.
The Aria Suite builds on Cathay’s award-winning inflight entertainment experience by providing customers with a 24-inch 4K ultra high definition screen – the largest ever offered by the airline. Customers may pair their Bluetooth-enabled headphones to enjoy an even more personalised entertainment experience.
The marble-style surface side console has a built-in wireless charger, perfect for charging smartphones and other personal devices with ease simply by placing them on the dedicated spot.
Alternatively, USB-A, USB-C and AC power outlets are also available to suit needs, while the large table features an integrated personal electronic device (PED) holder.
In premium economy, a 15.6-inch 4K ultra-high-definition screen at each seat ensures customers can enjoy Cathay’s inflight entertainment experience.
These are the largest premium economy screens available onboard a Cathay aircraft, and feature 4K content on demand and Bluetooth audio streaming, enabling customers to personalise their inflight entertainment experience using their own Bluetooth-enabled headphones.
The economy cabin on the retrofitted 777-300ER retains the features and advancements from Cathay’s Airbus A350s, refreshed with a number of new features to enhance the customer experience.
These include updated dress covers, improved front row ergonomics and additional overhead bin space
The new cabin experiences were introduced at a special ceremony for distinguished guests, customers, media and Cathay employees at Hong Kong International Airport on October 16.
