Azerbaijan Airlines Flight 8243 has crashed near an airport in Kazakhstan.
The airline confirmed the incident after video of the crash surfaced online.
While the airline says the flight made an emergency landing, all of its social media channels now have black display images.

“The Embraer 190 aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, flight numbered J2-8243 on the Baku-Grozny route, made an emergency landing approximately 3 kilometers near the city of Aktau,” the airline said.
Flight 8243 sent an emergency signal around 30 minutes before it disappeared from radar.
Both its height and speed fluctuated wildly as it neared Aktau, Kazakhstan.
The aircraft was 11 years old.
