Known for its award-winning Suite Ships, Avalon is embarking on a fleet-wide refresh designed to enhance the style, comfort, and connectivity of river cruising. While the breathtaking views remain unchanged, the onboard experience is getting an upgrade—from refreshed interiors and upgraded outdoor spaces to next-level Wi-Fi.
Over the next two years, Avalon is rolling out its enhancements across its European fleet that promise smoother sailing and even more style (excluding Avalon Alegria, Avalon View, and Avalon Envision, which already feature the new design).
An Elevated Look for Their Award-Winning Suite Ships
Avalon’s reimagined Suite Ships will feature:
- Fresh décor in every public space, from flooring to furniture.
- A second Starlink antenna for even better high-speed internet.
- A chic new look and furniture for the Sky Deck, offering million-dollar views.
- Enhanced Observation Lounge comfort for the best front-row seat to the world.
- Upgraded fitness rooms with Kinesis weight machines and expanded free weights.
- Each ship will feature 15 new bikes and 4 e-bikes for onshore exploration.
The refresh will be introduced in phases:
- 2024: Avalon Passion, Avalon Imagery II, Avalon Poetry II, Avalon Panorama, Avalon Vista
- 2025: Avalon Artistry II, Avalon Impression, Avalon Illumination, Avalon Tapestry II, Avalon Tranquility II
- 2026: Avalon Expression & Avalon Visionary
