Visit Anaheim, the official sales and marketing organisation for Anaheim, California, has secured 160 conventions, meetings, and events for 2025. These are expected to generate over $1.4 billion USD (2.2 billion AUD) in economic impact for the local community, comprising 67 conventions and 93 meetings and events.
Anaheim’s 2025 convention calendar is packed with high-profile gatherings, kicking off in January with NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) and continuing with major events such as Natural Products Expo West and VidCon. These flagship conventions reinforce Anaheim’s reputation as a premier destination for world-class meetings and events.
“With our new leadership team in place, Visit Anaheim has taken a strategic approach to meetings and conventions, delivering record-breaking business to the destination,” said Mike Waterman, President & CEO of Visit Anaheim. “The economic impact from these events will not only support our hospitality sector but also benefit the entire Anaheim community.”
With nearly 900,000 attendees expected and more than half a million hotel room nights already booked, these events will bring significant financial benefits to the city. Notably, Natural Products Expo West alone is projected to contribute nearly $210 million USD (330 million AUD) to Anaheim’s economy, as visitors spend on dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Beyond direct economic contributions, the projected $15 million USD (23 million AUD) in tax revenue will help fund local infrastructure and community initiatives. These funds will support essential services such as education and public safety while boosting employment and economic growth.
