The award-winning musical will take to the over-water stage in Sydney with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as a spectacular backdrop.

A story about New York City’s gritty backstreets and urban gang culture, this critically acclaimed production returns on March 22 for a limited four-week season until April 21.

Set in the mid-1950s, the Romeo and Juliet-style plot centres around the love between Tony and Maria who are associated with rival gangs, the Jets and the Sharks.

The Handa Opera outdoor stage is two and a half times larger than any theatre in Australia and offers grandstand seating for 3,000.

The HSBC Platinum Club – a dining room, bar and lounge set among the tree tops – offers fine dining before the show and drinks at interval.

Dinner and show packages are available with variable components that include a three-course dinner, interval drinks, program and performance.

The HSBC Platinum Club can also be booked privately for groups and corporate entertaining.
