TravelManagers has unveiled its latest technological advancement, providing personal travel managers (PTMs) with a powerful new tool to meet the growing demand for cruise holidays.

According to TravelManagers’ Cruise Product Manager, Lia Malone, the new customer-facing cruise platform is designed to complement the company’s in-house cruise wholesaler, Fastbook, which was launched in September last year.

“Fastbook provides our PTMs with a wholesale platform that offers live, 24/7 availability and integrates seamlessly with our back-office system,” Malone explained. “Now, each PTM can also customise their website to extend that seamless online experience to their clients.”

PTM Ange Bowerman, based in Dromedary, Tasmania, is thrilled about the dedicated cruise platform and says her clients share her enthusiasm. The platform allows clients to search for their ideal cruise by location, departure date, and cruise line.

“For many clients, the planning process is a major part of the holiday experience. The new platform means they can now access a wealth of information through my own website,” Bowerman said. “I can also send recommendations via the platform, so my clients can review the options I’ve selected for them in more detail.”

This dual approach enhances the customer experience by allowing clients to engage in the planning process while enjoying the security of knowing their PTM is managing every detail.

Malone highlighted the platform’s extensive offerings, noting, “The platform currently provides real-time inventory and information from 32 different cruise lines. We already have a comprehensive range of ocean cruises and cruise tours online, and we will soon be extending our offering to include river cruises as well.”

With this latest innovation, TravelManagers continues to enhance its PTMs’ ability to deliver personalised, high-quality cruise holiday experiences to clients across Australia.
