Following a record-breaking year in 2024, which saw the highest guest numbers, occupancy rates, and revenue in the company’s history, Celestyal is looking forward to another successful year in 2025.
The cruise line has made substantial changes to its itineraries and is now operating year-round, with two ships set to winter in the Arabian Gulf. This decision comes after an overwhelming response to the inaugural Arabian Gulf season. In response to guest feedback, Celestyal has adjusted its Gulf itineraries to include stops in Dubai and Ras Al-Khaimah. Guests can choose from a variety of 3-night and 7-night cruises departing from Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In Europe, the highly popular Heavenly Adriatic Italy & Croatia cruise, a favourite among Australian travellers, is expanding from one sailing to ten in 2025. Additionally, Celestyal is offering an enticing 14-night repositioning cruise from Athens to Abu Dhabi, with one voyage timed to arrive in time for the Grand Prix.
Celestyal has also invested heavily in upgrading its fleet. The Celestyal Journey recently returned to service following a $10 million refit in Dubai, which included a new livery, enhancements to the power management system, and the addition of 34 new cabins through the lengthening of the ship.
To simplify the booking process, the company has introduced the Celestyal One fare. Gone are the days of complicated drinks packages – customers can now prepay for food and beverages before their trip, with an additional bonus that is commissionable for travel agents.
With its evolving brand, expanded itineraries, and continued growth, Celestyal is definitely a cruise line to watch in 2025.
