Travel activities and experiences booking platform, Klook, held its inaugural Klook Partner Awards event in Sydney last night (Wednesday 13 February), honouring its top-performing and best-loved merchant partners. Held at Sydney’s Bar Ombre, the award winners included some of the country’s best-loved travel experiences such as Merlin Entertainment, Dream World, and Big Bus. The full list of winners included:

  • Klook Salute (best partnership award): Go West Tours & Brighton Coaches
  • Kustomer Service (best customer experience): Merlin Entertainment
  • Klookovator (innovative brand or product): Big Bus
  • Joy Sparker (based on reviews): Tassie Tour Tasmania
  • What’s Klooking (the rising star): Pennicott
  • What’s Klooking (trending product): Dream World
  • Sustainability Award: Southern Cross Day Tours

Award winners were selected based on Klook’s customer experience data and the partner’s alignment with Klook’s values of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. Klook also recognised partners that contribute to mutually beneficial campaign efforts to drive growth.

Klook’s Managing Director of Oceania, UK and The Americas, Henry Hooper, said: “We are rapt to have launched these awards and give thanks to the brands that have helped make Klook one of the leading experiences platforms in the market.”

“It was a tough choice – all of our valued partners are award-winning in our eyes, but we crunched our data and took a deep look back at those brands that have upped the ante when it comes to the customer experience, innovation and creative marketing.”

“We also wanted to put a spotlight on those brands that are helping shape the industry for the better. The Sustainability Award acknowledges the efforts and investment merchants put into making travel more enriching for local communities, as well as reducing the impact of travel on the environment.”

Award partners were invited to hop aboard a special Klook Big Bus for a nighttime tour of the city’s landmarks, Hooper adding:

“To cap off the evening with a Big Bus tour across Sydney and seeing the city’s iconic sights lit up was the icing on the cake.”

Klook was launched in Australia & New Zealand in 2018 with just 85 local operators. Since then, the fast-growing brand has attracted over 1000 merchants. As well as access to its global user base, Klook also offers its partners high-performance media, social media and influencer marketing campaigns and effective above-the-line advertising partnerships across its comprehensive marketing channels, helping partners reach a wide audience.
