Five-star Art Deco hotel Kimpton Margot Sydney has started the year off on a high noteentering a partnership with one of the most anticipated events of 2025, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

As part of the partnership, Kimpton Margot Sydney has signed on as a Mardi Gras preferred hotel, hosting a suite of sensational events and guest experiences throughout the annual festival (14 February-2 March), as well as offering festival-goers a well-located, luxurious place to stay.

Activations will include two “Out At Margot’s” bottomless drag brunch events in Luke’s Kitchen hosted by Hollywould Star of Rupaul’s Drag Race Down Under fame, as well as a post-Mardi Gras poolside recovery party at Harper Rooftop Bar featuring Kylie Minogue-inspired performances and frozen cocktails.

During every Out At Margot’s, Kimpton Margot Sydney will donate 10% of all cocktail sales at Wilmot Bar and Luke’s Kitchen to The Pinnacle Foundation, which provides educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTQIA+ Australians.

“We’re beyond thrilled that the world-renowned cultural event that is Sydney’s Mardi Gras has chosen Kimpton Margot Sydney as a festival partner in 2025,” said Kimpton Margot Sydney General Manager, Bruce Ryde.

“Our partnership with Mardi Gras builds on our hotel’s philosophy of inclusivity, and extends on years of already being a first-choice hotel for many festival-goers.”
