Carnival Cruise Line today announced exciting developments in its Australian sales team, further solidifying its commitment to supporting the travel agent community. Sarah Miller, a seasoned Carnival team member with six years of exemplary service, has been promoted to the role of Key Account Manager. Additionally, the company is expanding its presence by adding a new Business Development Manager (BDM) for Queensland to support travel agents and drive growth into 2025.
In her new role, Sarah Miller will focus on deepening relationships with key accounts, leveraging her proven expertise and success. Throughout her career at Carnival, Sarah has brought her trademark FUN and professionalism to every task.
Mark Richards, National Sales Manager of Carnival Cruise Line Australia, shared his enthusiasm: “Sarah’s new role reflects our ongoing commitment to recognising and developing talent within our team. Her incredible results, drive, and strategic mindset have made her a standout performer. We’re confident Sarah will take our key accounts to the next level, ensuring our travel agent partners continue to thrive.”
To further support travel agents and prepare for increasing demand in 2025 and beyond, Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its salesforce by appointing a new BDM for Queensland. This new role will focus on providing targeted support for travel agents in the region, delivering tailored resources and on-the-ground assistance to help agents maximise opportunities across Carnival’s expanding fleet and product offerings.
“Our travel agent partners are at the heart of what we do. By adding more resources to Queensland, we are doubling down on our efforts to support agents and meet the growing interest from Australian travellers. With Sarah’s role and the new BDM, we are well-positioned to make 2025 a year of even greater success for everyone involved,” added Richards.
These initiatives come at an exciting time for Carnival Cruise Line, as it gears up to integrate two additional ships from P&O Cruises Australia in 2025, expanding the fleet to 3 ships sailing year-round from Sydney and Brisbane and a seasonal deployment with Carnival Luminosa based in Brisbane – the FUNShine State.
Travel agents remain integral to CCL’s success, and the company’s investment in leadership and resources is a testament to its dedication to building and nurturing long-term partnerships across the industry.
