On Monday, Broadway Inbound and NYC Tourism + Conventions, the City’s official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau, will present their annual “NYC Center Stage” luncheon at IPW, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

Tony and Olivier Award-winning Broadway star Gavin Creel will host the luncheon, which will featureperformances from some of the city’s most popular musicals. Attendees will get a taste of Broadway on the West Coast, with performances from The Broadway Collection shows SIX, Back to the FutureChicagoWater for ElephantsMJ, and Wicked.

“No visit to New York City is complete without seeing a Broadway show. We are proud to once again partner with NYC Tourism + Conventions to bring the pulsating beat of Broadway to IPW with high-energy performances from some of the most popular new and long-running Broadway musicals,” said Bob Hofmann, Vice President of The Broadway Collection, a division of The Shubert Organization focused on helping visitors to NYC discover Broadway.

Bursting to life through a playlist of pop-inspired anthems and offering a contemporary take on Henry VIII’s wives, SIX will open the luncheon with its “Opening Medley.” Back to the Future, based on the beloved film, performs second with an electrifying performance of “Put Your Mind to It,” taking attendees back to 1985 and 1955. Next to perform will be Chicago, delivering its famous tale of fame, fortune, and sultry jazz to IPW with the songs “Me and My Baby” and “When You’re Good to Mama.”

The cast of Water for Elephants, the brand-new musical inspired by the renowned bestselling book set against the backdrop of a Depression-era circus, will be performing the enchanting song Wild.” MJ, which continues to electrify both new and long-time fans of Michael Jackson, follows with a show-stopping performance of “Beat It.” The cast of Wicked, telling the tale of what happened in the Land of Oz long before Dorothy arrived, will close the luncheon with a riveting rendition of the heartfelt “No Good Deed.”
