In anticipation of Nozo Hotel Furano’s first birthday this December, the new lifestyle retreat in Hokkaido is extending a warm invitation to Aussie and Kiwi travellers with an exclusive winter package, featuring a remarkable 30% discount on all rooms and breakfasts for stays of seven-nights or more. This special offer marks the hotel’s milestone celebration and heralds the beginning of another thrilling winter season in the captivating powder snow paradise.

Nestled in Hokkaido’s breathtaking landscape, the hotel takes pride in its unrivalled proximity to the world-famous powder snow and snowboarding slopes of Kitanomine, Furano. The 78-room resort sits between the majestic Tokachi Mountain Range to its east and the enchanting Yubari Mountains to the west. Adorned by clear river waters and blossoming hues in the spring/summer season, the retreat wraps itself under pristine white snow as the year draws to a close.

This winter, Nozo Hotel Furano eagerly awaits the arrival of intrepid travellers from Australia and New Zealand, inviting them to revel in a week-long sojourn in this snow-white haven. Within a mere three-minute stroll from the hotel, guests can conveniently access the slopes and indulge in winter sports by traversing the abundant skiing and snowboarding trails offered by nature. To ensure a truly restful stay, Nozo provides ski/snowboard rental services in partnership with Rhythm Japan, offering a specially curated range of skis, snowboards, and other snow gear. Guests can travel light and simply leave the rentals in the ski lockers in-resort and hotel staff will handle the return process with care.

In addition to thrilling outdoor adventures, hotel guests are encouraged to embrace the full spectrum of experiences the sanctuary has to offer. Nozo collaborates with local travel partners to assist guests in making reservations for exciting winter adventures, breaking down any language barriers. Highlighted winter activities include exciting snowmobile tours, enchanting snowshoe trekking, and breathtaking hot air balloon rides to immerse in the beauty of Furano’s winter landscape and create unforgettable memories.

Beyond these natural wonders, the Furano retreat also offers a full range of indoor indulgences. After an exhilarating day on the slopes, guests are warmly welcomed back at Shirakaba, the all-day dining venue at Nozo. Here, culinarians serve farm-to-table international cuisine crafted with locally sourced ingredients from the Biei and Furano regions, including the prized Furano pork and Tokachi beef, all while basking in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges from the restaurant’s terrace.

After the activities, guests can unwind from the day’s fatigue and replenish the body and mind at Sugi Spa, a blissful oasis. Boasting an indoor hot bath and an outdoor one enhanced with an open air skylight, Sugi Spa recreates the quintessential Japanese bathing experience to recharge skiers – with a cold water dip and saunas for additional soothing relaxation and rejuvenation.

The winter package discount is applicable for all advanced bookings made between July 1st and November 1st. Nozo Hotel also offers the option to enhance your package with a hassle-free 2-way airport transfer from Sapporo Airport (CTS). Choose between a Prius Taxi (1-2pax) for AUD $900 or an Alphard/Velfire (2-3pax) for AUD $1,150, ensuring a seamless journey to and from Nozo Hotel Furano. Or if you transit via Tokyo and fly domestic into Asahikawa Airport the 2-way airport transfer cost will be AUD$370 for 2pax. Advance bookings of 90-days is required.
