Poor old Phileas Fogg never had it this easy. Forget a hot air balloon: 48 lucky people are going to travel around the world on a new wildlife-themed journey by private jet.
Abercrombie & Kent have just unveiled their latest adventure, scheduled from May 19 to June 11, 2025.
“This marks the third instalment of our wildlife-themed private jet journeys over the past three years,” said Ann Epting, Senior Vice President, Private Jet & Special Interest Travel.
“Spanning seven breath-taking destinations, from the majestic waters of Palau to the untamed wilderness of Nepal, this journey offers unparalleled encounters with nature’s wonders.”
Highlights of the 24-day adventure include Koror in Palau, one of the richest marine ecosystems and a dream for divers and snorkellers. Guests will explore the underwater life and reefs, see Second World War relics and go on a whale-watching excursion.
In Nepal, travellers will embark on river boat safaris in Chitwan National Park to search for the near-extinct gharial crocodile and other wildlife. They’ll also take four-wheel-drive safaris to spot the critically endangered one-horned rhino, the elusive Bengal tiger and the wild sloth bear.
In Brazil, guests will venture deep into the Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland, in search of the elusive jaguar and other wildlife such as capybaras, howler monkeys and river otters.
A&K’s chartered Boeing 757 offers comfort and style with 48 first-class, fully lie-flat seats and a range of amenities, including iPads, noise-cancelling headphones and an espresso maker.
‘Wildlife Adventure by Land & Sea: Around the World by Private Jet’ is priced from $257,000 per person, double occupancy.
Meanwhile the company has also unveiled its ‘A&K May Rewards’ offer. Agents who make and deposit a new booking with A&K between May 1 and 31 will receive a pre-paid Visa voucher based on the booking value, worth up to $1,000.
Booking must be five nights or more on any A&K Tailormade, Luxury Small Group Journey or Luxury Expedition Cruise.
