Rail Online is giving travel agents the chance to win an environmentally friendly e-scooter or a range of cash vouchers simply by booking Eurostar.
The new incentive – timed to coincide with the peak booking period for European holidays – will see the individual agent achieving the highest total value of Eurostar sales through Rail Online between 3 April and 3 May ride off with an e-Scooter valued at $1,000.
In addition, Rail Online is giving away cash vouchers ranging from $500 to $100 to four other top Eurostar selling agents.
Rail Online Chief Executive James Dunne says Eurostar is gearing up for significant growth this year following its merger with the high-speed Thalys network in late 2023 to create Western Europe’s largest international high-speed network.
“The newly rebranded Eurostar now operates a fleet of 51 trains serving 28 destinations in five countries: Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK,” says Dunne. “And it has bold ambitions to carry 30 million passengers a year by 2030, while becoming the benchmark for sustainable travel in Europe.
“For Eurostar’s Australian customers that means better connections to a wider range of European destinations, including Antwerp, Cologne and Düsseldorf, as well as the traditional ports of London, Paris and Brussels.”
Eurostar bookings can be made up to 11 months prior to travel through Rail Online’s innovative online platform, with travel agents paying no booking fees.
Since its launch a little over a year ago, the company has set a new benchmark for booking international rail by making it easier and more efficient for travel agents to search, compare, book and self-manage ‘live’ rail inventory, priced in Australian dollars.
