Guests at a special dinner hosted by Destination Vancouver and Air Canada last week were left in no doubt about one of the major attractions the Pacific coast city has to offer.
Vancouver offers some of the world’s best seaplane scenic flight experiences, with their iconic seaplanes (or float planes as they affectionately known to the locals) providing a unique way to explore the city and the pristine natural landscapes that surrounds it.
So, Destination Vancouver and Air Canada partnered with Sydney Seaplanes to bring a taste of Vancouver to Sydney.
A 15-minute scenic flight over Sydney was followed by a networking dinner at the Empire Lounge in Rose Bay, where guests explored Vancouver’s unique business events experiences and the world-class Air Canada services operating between Australia and Canada.
Destination Vancouver was visiting Australia as part of the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) in Melbourne and co-hosted the MICE event in Sydney with Air Canada to connect with corporate partners, PCOs and incentive agents.
The business events sector has been a valuable market for Vancouver, so Destination Vancouver and Air Canada will be looking to expanding their sales and marketing efforts across Australia, New Zealand and in key Asian markets in 2024.
