IT’S BEEN a long time between cocktails but the main annual tourism event hosted by The Islands of Tahiti, Parau Parau Tahiti (PPT), has taken place for the first time since 2019.

Held in Papeete, the two-day Travelmart brought together international product managers, local partners and tourism professionals from Australasia.

Attendees were able to network and engage while in the destination, also giving product managers the opportunity to experience the many sides of Tahiti first-hand.

In addition to the event, those present were also treated to a famil trip and experienced the culture and landscapes of Tahiti.

This included staying at the recently opened Hilton Hotel Tahiti, a catamaran excursion out of Papeete and site inspections of new and existing properties.
